Bristol City Academy

The City Academy, Bristol is part of the national Academies programme and is a specialist sports college sponsored by Bristol City Football Club, the University of the West of England and Business West.

The academy opened in 2003 and the site has been redeveloped during 2005.  Plant displays, designed by Lizz Kelly from Rentokil Tropical Plants local branch in Bath, were installed in September 2005 and contribute to the learning environment.  Strong colours and modern shapes were chosen for the plant containers, which are used to help define the spaces where they are placed.
