Capital Group offices, California

The plant displays in the offices of Capital Group in Irvine, California are designed with elegance and simplicity.  The clients wanted plant displays that complemented the understated style of building's decor.

The two matching Kentia palms in the double-height circular lobby are over 4 metres tall and provide a natural frame to the staircase.  They are also visible from the staff lunch area on the mezzanine floor above the lobby.

The seating area in the reception area also required understated elegance.  Small bowls with Oncidium orchids on the tables fulfill this requirement perfectly.

The design of these plant displays, by the Los Angeles branch of Initial Tropical Plants, was recognised by an Award of Excellence at the 2005 Plantscape Industry Alliance awards held in Las Vegas.
