Inverness
Hotel and Golf Club, Colorado
The Inverness Hotel
and Golf Club is a conference centre located in the suburban
corporate campus of South Denver, which attracts business
clientele from all over the USA.
The interior landscape
features four mature black olive trees (Bucida buceras), each
of which requires over 150 litres of water a week.
The Denver Branch
of Initial
Tropical Plants installed this scheme in February 2000
and their on-going maintenance of the displays earned them
an Award of Merit for Horticultural Service at the Plantscape
Industry Alliance awards given in August 2005.
