Atrium in the Netherlands

This building, near Amsterdam, has several enclosed spaces between individual blocks.  Each one has a similar planting style, but use different species.

As the spaces are unheated, hardy exotic species have been used such as the huge Agaves, European olives and Trachycarpus palms.

The formal planting arrangement compliments the modern industrial look of the building and the plant containers match the grey colour of the building's structure.
