Office building in Norway

This small built-in bed features euphorbias, bromeliads and orchids.  During the summer months, much of the light required for the plants comes from daylight.  However, supplementary lighting is required in the winter.

The spot lights used here give useful amounts of light for plant survival, but are also placed to highlight the most colourful plants in the display.
