Tropical Plants UK win one of the most prestigious awards
in the horticultural industry, a Silver Gilt medal.

plant specialist was invited by the Royal
Horticultural Society (RHS) to create a dramatic 8m by
3m display.
The
eye catching design, situated in the Grand Pavilion comprises

‘Forest Flame' (Fittonia verschaffeltii), used as
a living top dressing, to towering 3 metre palms, all set
in stunning black graphite-effect containers.
The
centrepiece of the display is a very rare and stunning Rhopaloblaste
singaporensis from the Malaysian peninsular.
Paul
Sturgess, interior landscape designer and horticulturist for
Rentokil Tropical Plants, said of the success: "It's a privilege
and an honour to even be invited by the RHS to exhibit at
the worlds largest and most important show. To win a Silver
Gilt medal is phenomenal.

usual I have enjoyed the reaction from the public, who are
amazed to learn that the plants I have on display are available
for them to have in their office or home."
